Carmela Corrente, 85, of Edison, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024 at JFK Medical Center, Edison. She was born in Ginosa, Italy to the late Cosimo and Anna Rotunno. She enjoyed being surrounded by her beloved grandchildren. Carmela was predeceased by her husband, Cosimo Corrente. She is survived by her sons, Sal Corrente, and Claudio Corrente and his wife Karen; along with her grandchildren, Allegra, Cosimo, Cyrus, Constantino and Gabrielle. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 5th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Matthew the Apostle Church, Edison. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
