Walter J. Russell, Jr., 50, of Edison, died Thursday, March 20, 2014, at the John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison. Born in New Brunswick, he was a lifelong resident of Edison. Walter was employed as a mover with Atlas Moving Co., Inc. for many years. He was also a member of the American Legion Father & Son Post in Edison. Walter was predeceased by his father, Walter Russell, Sr., in 1995. Surviving are 3 sons; Anthony and Walter Russell of Beaver Falls, PA and Eric Russell of Nebraska, his mother Emma (Benz) Russell of Edison, a brother Donald and his wife Nancy of Basking Ridge and a sister, Debbie and her husband Michael McGlynn of Edison. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 23 at 8:00 p.m. from the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. Cremation will be private.
