Alexis Nicole Mandikas, 38, of East Stroudsburg, PA passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023. She was born in Perth Amboy and raised in Woodbridge before moving to East Stroudsburg. Alexis had a unique personality. She was loud, bold and passionate. If her head wasn't nuzzled in her giant book collection you could find her binge watching her favorite TV show. Or even talking smack about how the NY Giants are the best football team of all time. She loved to cook the families favorite recipes. She'll even argue that she was the best cook in the family. But most importantly, her biggest passion in life was her daughters. Three beautiful girls, that naturally all have Alexis' exactly personality. Alexis is survived by her children, Mikayla Taskowitz, Makenzie Izquierdo and Makynlee Szmania; mother, Michele Fedkow Barthlemess; father, Nicholas Mandikas and his wife Donna; sisters, Ashley Mandikas and her husband Alberto, Kelsey Mandikas and her husband Charlie, and Shelby Barthlemess; brother, Nicholas Mandikas and his wife Niki; her maternal grandmother, Theresa Fedkow; and nephews, Brandon and Lincoln. Services were held privately.
