Kathleen Theresa Embly, 77, of Edison, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at her home. Kathy was born in Newark to the late Jerry and Viola Maurillo. She was a homemaker. In her free time, Kathy loved spending time with family. She cherished her grandchildren and enjoyed crafting, dancing and a good party. Kathy is survived by her husband, Richard Embly; her daughters, Donna Embly and Debbie Ugarte; son-in-law Todd Ugarte; along with her grandchildren, Alyssa, Ashley and Michael; her sister Gerri Demontreux; brothers-in-law Lou Demontreux, Ben Embly and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services are private under the direction of Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison.
