Alice Dolores Chapin, 67, of Edison, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Alice was born in Jersey City to the late Thomas and Alice Armitage. She worked in retail for TJ Maxx in Edison. In her free time, Alice loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She was a great seamstress and enjoyed sewing. She also enjoyed going to the beach and playing bingo. Alice was predeceased by her husband, Gary M. Chapin in 2003. She is survived by her children, Gary Chapin, Michele Bobrowski and her husband Joseph and Kelly O’Connell and her husband Sean; brothers, Tom Armitage and his wife Patricia and James Armitage; along with her grandchildren, Sarah and Joseph Bobrowski and Daniel and Dalton O’Connell. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 6-8PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue in New Brunswick. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, August 27th at 11:30AM. Interment will follow at Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick.
