Obituary of Mary Lou Waldron

Mary Lou nee Craft Waldron, 91, of Edison, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ. She was born in Irvington and raised in Vailsburg, before moving to Edison in 1951. Mary Lou was a homemaker. She was one of the founding families of St. Matthew the Apostle Church where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. She was a proud Scarlet Lady of Edison “Red Hat” Ladies. Mary Lou was an avid fan of the Yankees, Giants, and Nascar Racing. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, music and reading. Family meant everything to her. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, William Waldron; her son, John Joseph Waldron; and her daughter, Susan Van Horn; as well as her brothers, William and Warren Craft. She is survived by six of her children, James and his wife Tama, Michael and his wife Maryann, Christopher and his wife Christina, Kathleen Jones, Patricia Nartowicz and her husband Mark, and Joanne Sinclair and her husband Alex. She is also survived by her brother, Thomas Craft and his wife Margaret ; and her sister, Catherine Adam. She also leaves eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4th at St. Matthew the Apostle Church in Edison. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
