Donna M Capparucci Rogers, 63, of Edison entered into eternal life on February 8, 2018. She was born in Newark, NJ, daughter of the late Edmund and Margaret (Bronco) Capparucci. After several years Donna's family moved to Metuchen. Following high school, Donna was employed at Costa Cottage in Metuchen, where she met her future husband, Tim Rogers. They settled in Edison and raised two daughters. Her outgoing personality and willingness to help others, helped to garner a large circle of friends, many of whom considered Donna a "best friend." As a grandmother, Donna had a very active roll in caring for her granddaughter.
Donna is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Tim Rogers of Edison; her two daughters and son-in-laws Melanie and Servando Jimenez of Edison; Laura and Joseph Folven of East Brunswick; her granddaughter Lilly Jimenez; her sisters and brother-in-law Diane Capparucci of Edison; Susan Csakany of Edison; Theresa and John Nichols of Aberdeen; her brothers and a sister-in-law Charles Lynch of Edison; Todd Bogie of Virginia Beach; Gary and Rebecca Bogie of Brielle; John Pantelano of Florida; her brothers and sisters-in-law Kathy Lane of Troy, PA; Fred and Ruth Riedel of Harmony, NJ; Robert and Debbie Rogers of Freeland,PA; Denis and Lyn Rogers of Metuchen; Gerrianne Robertson of Phillipsburg, NJ; Mark and Malou Rogers of Waverly, NY; John and Karen Rogers of Elmira, NY; Bill and Lisa McBratney of Millerton, PA; Larry and Jeanne Grace of Troy, PA; Richard and Stacy Rogers of Troy, PA; James and Symantha Rogers of Gillett, PA; and predeceased by sister-in-law Aimee Rogers Hansell; and 88 nieces and nephews.
A memorial celebrating Donna's life will be held at the River Road Fire House, 102 Netherwood Ave. in Piscataway, NJ on March 17 from 1 to 5 pm. Family and friends are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Edison First Aid Squad #1 33 Lake View Blvd.
