Obituary of Sandra A. Rudolph

Sandra A. Rudolph, 57, of Highland Park, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Columbia County, PA, she was raised in South Plainfield and has been a resident of Highland Park since 1995.

Mrs. Rudolph recently retired from Middlesex County where she drove an M.C.A.T. bus. She loved getting to know the many people she came in contact with over her years in transportation. Through her work with the county she also delivered Meals on Wheels. Known for her green thumb, she loved flowers and time spent gardening. She was a creative person and could often be found painting, doing arts and crafts, and photography. A caring woman with a big heart, she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She was predeceased by her parents Frederick and Shirley Pollin, her sister Betty Pollin, her niece Lisa Borden and nephew Fred Pollin. She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years Carl Rudolph of Highland Park; her four sons Steve and Chris Toro both of Flanders, Jonathan Rudolph of Columbus, OH and Jason Rudolph of Norfolk, VA; her granddaughter Jenna Grace Toro; her brothers Frederick and Russell Pollin and sisters Ellen Borden and Joan Frisco; and her sister in-law Norma Giannetti.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Boylan Funeral Home 10 Wooding Ave., Edison. Funeral services will take place at 8 pm. Cremation will be private.
