Loving wife, mother and grandmother, Joan G. Billings-Monaghan, 81, of Spring Hill, FL, formerly of East Brunswick, NJ, passed away on Thursday January 18, 2024. She was born in Somerville, NJ, daughter of the late Charles and Alice Chodkowski. Joan is survived by her daughters Heather Billings and Tracy Weiss (Michael), sister Marcie Martineau, her grandchildren Colby and Josephine, numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog Angel Baby. In addition to her parents, Joan was predeceased by her first husband Harry R. Billings, and her second husband William G. Monaghan. Joan moved to Florida after her retirement from Gerard Sheet Metal Fabricators. She enjoyed cruises, going for Harley rides with her late-husband Bill, socializing with her wonderful neighbors over glasses of wine, and gardening. She especially enjoyed watching and protecting the sandhill cranes that visited her yard. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 9-11AM at Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.
