Montano Cito, 93 of Edison, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Allegria Care Center in Ocean Grove. He was born in Salerno, Italy and was an Edison resident since 1976. Monty was a retired crossing guard for Edison Township and a member of the Edison Senior Citizens. He previously retired as a printer with Local One of ALA Industries in Elizabeth. During his last several months he enjoyed watching the ocean from his window and soccer on TV, playing bingo and meeting new friends. Monty was predeceased by his loving wife, Ann Cito. He is survived by his son, John G Cito Esq. and his wife Amy; two grandchildren Jacklyn and Jessica Cito; and his loving cat which he enjoyed spending time with outside in his garden in Edison. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Guardian Angels R.C. Church in Edison. Entombment will take place at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison.
