Gregory Alan Vanderhoof Jr., 32, of Port Monmouth, NJ passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023. He was born in Lansdale, PA and raised in Edison, NJ. He graduated from Edison High School where he played lacrosse and football. He furthered his education at Middlesex County College and Kean University. Gregory worked for the Department of Correction in Middlesex County for three years where he just made Special Ops. His dream was to be a coach for youth in lacrosse and to become a father. He was an avid traveler, who loved to hike, bike, and visit historical sites. He loved spending time with family and friends. Gregory is survived by his mother, Diane Lee Vanderhoof of Florida; his father; two sisters, Rebecca Little of Florida and Jessica Vanderhoof; and his maternal grandparents, Richard and Denise Sturtevant. He also leaves behind many aunts and uncles and lots and lots of cousins that loved and adored him. Gregory also leaves behind his beloved furbabies, Maui, Cheerio, Koda, Titus and Quinn. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday June 12, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.. Cremation will be private.
