Dorothy M Cooke, age 101, originally from Ridgewood NJ passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at The Actors Fund Nursing Home in Englewood City. She was born in Paterson NJ and she lived in Piscataway before moving. She very much enjoyed her last position as a secretary working at Rutgers University within the College of Agricultural and Environmental Studios for 20+ years before her retirement. She was a member of her church choir and was delighted when they performed at the Vatican. Dorothy was an avid golfer and tennis player and spent time traveling all over the world. She is predeceased by her parents, Daniel and Anna Cooke, her brother Daniel Jr., and her sisters, Bernice Witt, Grace Nielsen and Jacqueline Chalifoux. She is survived by 10 nieces and nephews, 14+ great nieces and nephews and 12+ great- great nieces and nephews. Dorothy’s ashes will be interred at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ at a later date.
