Anthony Joseph Ventre, 78, of Edison, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Anthony was born in Newark, lived in Fords for ten years, then Edison for the past forty years. He worked for Runyon Music & Games in Springfield and was a member of the American Legion in Metuchen. Anthony was predeceased by his son, Anthony; his parents, Anthony Ventre and Martha (Oese) Ventre; and three sisters, Diana Michielli, Doris Sirigano, and Catherine Spino. He is survived by his former wife (together 63 years), Nancy Ventre; and his sons, Dino and Darren Ventre. He will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 10AM at Guardian Angels Church, Edison. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Metuchen.
