Donald R Fox, 89, died on Monday, January 6, 2014 at his residence in Milltown. Born and raised New York City, he moved to New Jersey in the early 1950's before moving to Milltown in 1962. He worked as a Securities Manager at Brown Brothers and Harriman Co. in New York City for 43 years before retiring in 1989. He was a Veteran of the Army serving during WWII as a Staff Sergeant for the 418th Night Fighter Group in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes in Milltown, a member of the American Legion Post 25 in Milltown. He was an avid Golfer and Fisherman, and a huge Yankee Fan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He would support friends and family and enjoyed the Jersey Shore and Breezy Point. He was predeceased by his son Richard; his parents Joseph and Marie Fox; and his brothers Gerard, Joseph, James, and Robert; and sister, Dolores. He is survived by his loving wife Rose Marie (Heyer) Fox; his sons Robert Fox and wife Ginny of North Brunswick, Donald Fox and his wife Trish of Milltown; his daughter Colleen and her husband Rossano Zanon of Hellertown, PA, his daughter-in-law Coraly Fox of Manville; his sister Grace McCabe of NY; his grandchildren Moira, Matthew, Daniel, Kevin, Amanda, Christopher, Nicholas, Melissa and Emily; and great grandchild Jake and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin Friday at 9:30 am at the Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Milltown, interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in East Brunswick. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 on Thursday, January 9th, at the Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick .
