Stephen Kasabo, 87, of Edison, passed away Friday, November 29, 2013, at the Elms of Cranbury. Born in Freeland, PA, he lived there before moving to Edison 56 years ago. Mr. Kasabo was employed as a truck driver for Nu Car Carriers in Edison for 32 years retiring in 1988. He was a veteran serving the U.S. Army, a communicant of St. Matthews R.C. Church in Edison and a member of the church's Holy Name Society. He was predeceased by his loving wife Marie, in 1976, a daughter Debbie Jetter, 5 brothers and 1 sister. Surviving are his son Robert Kasabo and wife Sherri of Parkesburg, PA, and 4 grandsons: Kyle, Zachary, Conor, and Michael. Also surviving is the love of his life for the past 35 years Doris Nemeth. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 2nd at 9:00 a.m. from the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Matthews R.C. Church also in Edison. Cremation will be private. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, December 1st from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
