Obituary of Rose Marie "Sue" Nyers

Rose Marie Nyers, 79, of Edison passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Rose Marie was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to Lawrence and Delores Kaltenbach. Before her retirement in 2004, she was a Secretary at Rutgers University.

Rose Marie was predeceased by her parents; and a brother, Larry Kaltenbach. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Al Nyers; her children, Alex Nyers and his wife Patty, and Pamela Ortalano and her husband Gary; brothers, Ed Kaltenbach, Leo Kaltenbach, Bernie Kaltenbach, and Dennis Kaltenbach; grandchildren, AJ, Danielle, and Matthew; and her great grandchildren, Alexandra and Penelope. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Rose Marie was privately cremated. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 10AM-12PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. A prayer service will begin at 12PM at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
