Gaetana Presutto – 91 - New Brunswick

 

Gaetana “Tani” Nigro Presutto, 91, passed peacefully, surrounded by family on January 11, 2019, at Parker at Somerset, where she was lovingly cared for.

 

Tani was born in Bronx, NY before moving to New Brunswick, NJ.  She attended St. Mary’s grammar school, followed by New Brunswick High School, where she met her beloved husband, Pasquale.

 

Tani was employed by Johnson and Johnson in New Brunswick before leaving to raise her children.  She returned to the workforce years later as a volunteer at St. Peter’s University Hospital, then later employed in the Communications Department at St. Peter’s, where she worked until the age of 87.

 

Mrs. Presutto was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin RC Church in New Brunswick.

 

Tani is predeceased by her loving husband of 46 years, Pat, in 1997; parents, Marco and Ezelinda Nigro; brothers, Felix and Joseph; and sisters, Gaetana and Yolanda Egan.  She is survived by her son Patrick Presutto and wife Lisa; daughter, Beth Ann Seres and husband Dan; granddaughters, Jessica DellaMonica and husband Steven, Leesa Seres, Nicole Ozgul and husband Aytac; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Joshua, Sophia and Charlotte.  Also surviving are her sisters and brothers in laws, Mary Graff, Ann Greenburg and her husband Hank, Barbara Druiett and her husband James, and Joseph Egan.  Along with many nieces and nephews whom she loved.  She also leaves behind her lifelong best friend, Jessie Kukor.  And don’t forget the South Pennington Road gang.  Tani touched many lives and will be truly missed by all.

 

Family and friends may call on Thursday, January 17th from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick.  Funeral Services will start on Friday, January 18th at 9:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at St. Mary of Mount Virgin RC Church, 193 Sandford St, New Brunswick.  Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery in New Brunswick.
