Obituary of Patrick F. Murphy

Patrick F. Murphy, 76, of Edison, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at home. Patrick served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked in sales as well as installations and repairs for Talco. Patrick was a parishioner of St. Matthew the Apostle Church where he volunteered. In his free time, Patrick enjoyed gardening,working in his yard and spending time with his little dog “Queen”.

Patrick was predeceased by his parents Agnes and William; his siblings Agnes,Thomas,Vincent,Bill and Kay. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Eileen Murphy; son, Bill Murphy; grandchildren, Liam and Aidan. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Following his wishes, Patrick was privately cremated. Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison was entrusted with the funeral arrangements. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Matthew the Apostle Church on Saturday December 1, 2018 at 9:30 a.m..
