Obituary of Anton Volk

Anton Volk, 80, of Edison, passed away on October 27, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rahway. Born in Germany to Maximillian and Rosa (Harche) Volk, he resided in Edison for most of his life. Anton worked for the Union Local 4 Masonry as a brick layer. He was an avid Mets fan and an active member of the German Club in Clark. He will dearly be missed by his family and friends.

Anton was predeceased by his loving wife Naomi in 1999 and his parents.

Surviving are his sons, Anton P. Volk and his wife Joyce, and Royden Gilleo and his wife Sharon; brother, Gabe Volk, and sister Rosemarie; grandchildren, Stacey and Christian Gilleo, and Luke and Travis Volk along with 9 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, November 1st from 7-9PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Ave., Edison. Family and friends may gather on Friday, November 2nd between 9:30-10AM at the funeral home. Interment and prayers will take place at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Monmouth Junction at 10:45AM
