Obituary of Theresa Silvasy

Theresa Silvasy, 85, of Edison, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson  in New Brunswick. Born in Bakerton ,PA, Theresa was a Homemaker. She was a communicant of Guardian Angels RC Church in Edison.

She was predeceased by her two husbands Richard Shanahan and Timothy Silvasy; and her parents Valentine  and Catherine Contorchick.

Surviving are her sons Kevin Shanahan and his wife Kathleen , Shawn Shanahan and his wife Janet and Colin Shanahan; her daughter Valerie Shanahan; her sisters Rose Levinski and Alice Parfitt; and her grandchildren Meghan, Conor, Catlin, Colin, and Carley; and two great grandchildren.

Cremation and committal will be private. Donations can be made to “a local soup kitchen” or Lustgarden Foundation for Pancreatic Research.
