Dawn B. Lehman, 84, of Edison passed away peacefully at her home on July 30, 2018 with her family at her side. Dawn worked her entire life until her retirement at the age of 81 from Dr. Leonard’s Healthcare Corp. as an order picker and packer, where she was affectionally known as “Bernie” to her work family. She was a member of the Edison and Spotswood Senior Citizens Organizations where she loved line dancing and going on bus trips. Dawn was also a member of the Prayer Shawl Group at St Paul the Apostle Church in Highland Park. In her spare time, she enjoyed her outings with her family, close friends, and crocheting. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Dawn is predeceased by her dear husband William in 2003, both her parents and both her sisters Suzanne and Linda.
She is survived by her children and their spouses; son Bill and his wife Patricia of Edison; daughter Brenda Burke and her husband Thomas of Edison; grandchildren, William Jr. and his wife Jill, Ashley and her husband Scott, Tiffany and her husband Jim and Thomas and his wife Amy. Also surviving are her 9 Great Grandchildren; they were her absolute pride and joy.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Ave., Edison. A prayer service will be held during the evening visitation. Cremation will be private.
