Stephen J. Piros of Edison died at his home in Edison on May 28th. He was 81 years old. Born in Milltown, he has lived in Edison for the last 48 years. After graduating High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served in the Korean War. Following that, he worked for the DuPont Company as a computer operator until his retirement in 1989. He was an avid sports fan that loved the ESPN network. Stephen was predeceased by both of his parents, Stephen and Rose Piros and two sisters, Elizabeth and Irene. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Theresa and his two children, Stephen and Lisa, both of Edison. Funeral services will be held at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison on Saturday, June 1st at 10:30 followed by a Mass at The Church of the Guardian Angels in Edison at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will be private. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Pl Memphis, TN 38105 or at www.stjude.org
