James T. DiSpagna, 93 of Edison, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at JFK Medical Center.
James graduated from Snyder High School in Jersey City. He served his country in the United States Navy during WWII and was later employed with Weyerhaeuser Lumber Company in Pt. Newark as a supervisor. He was a member of the American Legion Post 435.
James was predeceased by his wife, Julia DiSpagna; and a son, Robert DiSpagna. He is survived by his son, James DiSpagna; a sister, Jeanette Kelly; grandchildren, Kimberly Barnebei and Alisha Valenti; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Zachary and Anthony.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 4-8PM; and Monday, 9:30AM for a 10AM prayer. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge.
