Obituary of Jim V. Keehbler

Much-loved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, James “Jim” Keehbler, 71, of Edison passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Plainfield, he was a resident of Edison for most of his life. As a young man he proudly served in the United States Army. For most of his career he followed his passion for cars by repairing and selling used cars.  He loved the Yankees and driving his Corvette. He also cherished time with his family and vacationing in Aruba. He was a parishioner of the First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, June (Bowers); his daughter, Donna Lyngholm and her husband Mark of Somerset; his son, James Keehbler and his wife Allison of Readington; his grandchildren Chase and Ellie; and his brother Nick Keehbler. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Helen, and brother Paul.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 3PM on Sunday, May 20th, at the First Presbyterian Church, 270 Woodbridge Avenue, Metuchen, NJ.
