Obituary of Margaret P. Cupano (Santangelo)

Margaret Cupano (Santangelo), 92, passed away on April 22, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital surrounded by her family. Margaret was born on April 24, 1925 in New Brunswick; she was a graduate of St. Peter’s High School. She retired from Chibbaro Brothers Insurance Agency as an Administrative Assistant. She was a lifelong, devout parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle Church in New Brunswick. Her greatest Joy was sharing Sunday dinner with her family.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Salvatore in 2011; her sister Ann Negri and her brothers Frank and Tony Santangelo. She is survived by her son Anthony and his wife Kathleen of New Brunswick and daughter Margie Nemes and her husband Kenny of Milltown; grandchildren, Kristen Cupano Bell, Michael Cupano and Tyler Nemes and a great grandchild Jaxx Nemes. She is also survived by her sisters Jane Arissi of Highland Park; and Rosemary Mahoney and her husband John of Whitehouse Station.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 4-8PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Peter the Apostle Church on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 10AM. Entombment will follow at St. Peter Cemetery, New Brunswick. Donations can be made in her name to St. Peter the Apostle Church in New Brunswick.
