Obituary of Sarah Ann Atkinson

Sarah Ann Atkinson, 79, of Edison, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 at home. Born in Philadelphia, PA she also resided in New Brunswick before moving to Edison in 1980.

Mrs. Atkinson was an avid reader and was devoted to her family. They were her world and she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She was predeceased by her husband Charles W. Atkinson, Sr. in 1997 and by her brother George Cuthbert. Surviving are her sons Charles W. Atkinson, Jr and wife Laura of Little Egg Harbor and Dwight D. Atkinson of Edison; her three grandsons Charles III and wife Anna, Michael and wife Samantha, and Luke; two great-grandchildren Brianna and Chase; and her siblings William Cuthbert, Barbara Smith, and Joan Hartman.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 15 at 11 am at Boylan Funeral Home 10 Wooding Ave., Edison. Interment will follow at Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 am – 11 am at the funeral home.
