Obituary of Frank Dancsecs

It is with great sadness that the family of Frank Dancsecs announces his sudden passing on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at RWJ University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.

Born in Csorotnek, Hungary, he moved to the United States in 1957.

He married his wife, Theresa on April 12, 1958 in Allentown, PA and resided there until they moved to NJ in 1960. They had resided in Edison, NJ since 1963. He adored his wife and her passing last year proved difficult for him.

He worked for Revlon Inc in Edison, NJ from the 1960’s until his retirement in the early 90’s.

Frank was a man who enjoyed an active lifestyle; he was not one to sit idly by. His example instilled the importance of a good work ethic, personal responsibility and a sense of humor in his children. He was an avid gardener, who took great pride and joy in building a natural sanctuary in his yard that he could enjoy with his wife, family and friends. He was a man with a kind heart, always willing to help family and friends. Frank had a love of animals since his rural origins in Hungary. From horses and cows, to his faithful Lab, Casey, to the pack of rabbits that he fed in his yard on a nightly basis, Frank loved all creatures, great and small.

He was predeceased by his wife Theresa, 13 months ago, and is survived by his children, Frank, Steve and his wife MaryAnn, and Marianne and her husband Dan, and grandchildren Steve and Jackie, his sisters Theresa and Elizabeth, and various nieces and nephews in Hungary.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 9:30-10:30AM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM at St. Matthew the Apostle Church, Edison.
