Steven V. Puerari, 39, died suddenly on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, N.J., from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at St. Matthew's R.C. Church, Edison, N.J., followed by interment at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, N.J. Family and friends may pay their respects Friday, Sept. 20, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Ave., Edison. Born in Livingston, N.J., Steven briefly lived in Irvington, N.J., before spending the majority of his life in Edison. He was a graduate of Edison High School, class of 1993, where he played varsity football. An avid Giants fan and motorcyclist, he was president of the Brothers Till End M.C. He is survived by his loving wife, Jessica Puerari, and their three children, Christina (13), Gabriella (4), and Vincent (4). Also surviving are his mother, Charlotte Puerari; father, Vincenzo Puerari; sister, Maria Puerari-Wise; brother-in-law, Kent Wise; nieces, Maria Kellie Wise, Gianna Wise; and nephew, Kent Steven Wise. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
