Frances M. Kean of Edison died Friday June 28th at J.F. Kennedy Medical Center. She was 83 years old. Born in Elizabeth, she lived in Union before moving to Edison 52 years ago. Mrs. Kean worked in the Medical Records Department at Hartwyck at Edison Estates for 35 years retiring in 2006. She was a member of Edison Senior Citizens and a graduate of Drake Business School. She was predeceased by her loving husband Albert in 1987, her parents, 2 sisters Evelyn Finch and Beryl Conk. Surviving are 2 daughters Jennifer Kean and Carolyn Peterson and husband Robert all of Edison, a cousin Joyce Warner and husband Jack, a niece Deborah LaFrance and husband Paul, and a nephew Christopher Conk. A special thanks to Jina Paszyncuk who helped care for her and a neighbor Olga Vitella. Funeral services will be held Monday 8pm at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Ave in Edison. Cremation will be private. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
