Helen C. Teffenhart, 82, of Edison, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014, at Care One in Holmdel. Born in Yonkers, NY in 1931 to the late Catherine and Stephen Just, she was a resident of Edison most of her life. Mrs. Teffenhart graduated from New Brunswick High School in 1950 and was married in 1956. She was a parishioner of Guardian Angels Church in Edison and enjoyed time spent gardening. Helen was a kind, generous, and loving mother and deeply touched the lives of all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Teffenhart, in 1991, and her brother, John S. Just. Surviving are her beloved children, Lawrence and John of Edison, James on Monroe, Robert of East Windsor, and Catherine Morrow of New Brunswick; her grandchildren, Christine, Daniel, James, Ryan, and Jason; her brother, Chester A. Just, as well as many cousins, nephews, and nieces. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass at Guardian Angels Church in Edison. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 8 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
