Genevieve F. Baumgarten, 98, of Edison passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 26,2014. She was born in Fords and moved to Edison many years ago. Genevieve worked for the American Red Cross in both New Brunswick and Woodbridge. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. Genevieve was predeceased by her husband, Kurt A, Baumgarten; her parents, Charles and Jenny Wargo and all of her siblings but one. Genevieve is survived by her son, Kurt Baumgarten of Cleveland, NY; two daughters, Jane Korzen of Edison and Beth McNeill of West Orange; her brother, Thomas Wargo of Edison; 8 grandchildren, Kurt Charles, Deborah, Barbara, Eric, Holly, Robert, Sara, James; 18 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 30 at 9:00 a.m. from the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison, followed by an entombment at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday, August 29,from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m..
