Joyce A. Hanson, 57, of Somerset, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014, at home. Born in Long Branch, she was a resident of Somerset for the past 26 years. Mrs. Hanson was a Registered Nurse at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She was a parishioner of St. Matthias R.C. Church in Somerset. She was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Gladys Dombroski, and her brother, Louis. Surviving are her loving husband, Raymond Hanson of Somerset; her son, Keith Hanson of Somerset; her sisters in-law Joann, and Karen and her husband Allen; her niece, Debbie and nephew, Wayne; and great nieces, Kaitlyn and Megan. Funeral services will be held at 8:15 a.m. on Friday, August 29, at Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue in New Brunswick followed by a 9:00 a.m. Mass at St. Matthias R.C. Church in Somerset. Entombment will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
