Margaret Toner, 78, died on Friday July 18, 2014, at Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Belfast, Ireland she moved to the U.S. where she worked as a nursing assistant. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, her devotion to her family was her greatest joy. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George Toner. She is survived by her sons, Richard and Edward both of Edison; her daughters, Mary Edinger of South Dakota, Margaret Sukhu and husband Ramraj of Florida, Georgina Miller of Edison and Patricia Toner of California; her brothers, James and Alphonsus Canavan; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday July 23rd from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison.
