Flora F. Kurtanick, 76, of Spotswood, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway. Born in New Brunswick, she resided in Edison most of her life before moving to Spotswood with her daughter and son in-law three years ago. Mrs. Kurtanick enjoyed going to garage sales and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her daughter, Jean, in 2002, as well as her brothers, Albert and Donald; and sisters, Joan and Jennie. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Kurtanick of Plainfield and Jesse Kurtanick of PA; her daughters, Theresa Schab and her husband Al of Spotswood, Mary Latella of Piscataway, and Judy Kurtanick of PA; six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; her brothers, Francis and Roger; and her sisters ,Edith, Kathleen, and Beverly. Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison; followed by interment at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 4, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
