Marlene M. Needham, 83, of Edison, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023, surrounded by those who loved her dearly. Marlene was born in Throop, PA to the late Michael and Della Gnall. She was raised in Bloomfield before moving to Edison in 1963. She was an employment specialist for Middlesex County for over 40 years and loved her career of helping others. Marlene was the definition of a real life angel. It is a tragedy for the world to lose such a shining soul. She was the epitome of goodness and grace. Marlene had the warmest smile that would light up any room. She absolutely loved being a caregiver and always put others first. Her family will continue spreading kindness in order to have Marlene’s genuine love live on through them. Marlene was predeceased by her soulmate, her husband, Jeremiah Needham. She is survived by her children, Jerry Needham, Kevin Needham and Laurie DeAmicis and her husband Paul; brother, Michael Gnall and his wife Peggy; along with her granddaughters, Brianna DeAmicis and her fiancé Shawn Petrillo and Alyssa DeAmicis Eldershaw and her husband Thomas. Services were held privately.
