Dorothy Marie Smerko, 96, of Edison, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at home. Dorothy was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of Edison since 1950. She was a parishioner of St. Matthew the Apostle Church, Edison. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Victor Smerko in 2013; brother, Bill Killian; and sister, Betty Casedei. She is survived by her children, Robert Smerko and his wife Kathleen, Deborah Parrinello, and Kimberly Palmer and her husband Jay; along with five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services for Dorothy are private.
