Connie J. Bomenka, 92 of Edison, NJ passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at home. She was born, raised and was a lifetime resident of Edison. Connie retired as a supervisor of Environmental Services at JFK Medical Center after 36 years. She was an excellent cook, baker, known for her cakes, cream puffs, and holiday cookies. She also enjoyed sewing as a hobby. Connie was predeceased by her husband of 27 years, John James Bomenka in 1982. She is also predeceased by her many brothers and sisters, Patsy, Nancy, Jimmy, Jennie, Josie, Nettie, Katie, Anna, Louie, Rosalie and Johnny. She is survived by her children; Cynthia Bomenka (Bobby) of Cream Ridge, Bruno Bomenka of Edison, Joann Bomenka (Gary) of Edison, and AnnMarie Uschak (Christopher) of Union; her brother, Rocco DeCovolo (Rose) of Ventura, California; and sister-in-law JoAnn DeCovelo of Edison. She also leaves 3 grandchildren; Brian Bomenka and his fiancée Abby, Isabella Uschak and Jonathan Uschak; and many, many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1st at the Funeral Home followed by a burial at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.
