Merle Berta Williams, formerly of Edison, NJ passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014. She was the wife for 63 years of the late Richard "Dick" Williams who passed away on November 27, 2013 Mrs. Williams was a graduate of New Brunswick High School. She was an employee of New Jersey Bell Telephone, Johnson & Johnson and Rutgers University. Mrs. Williams was a longtime member of the Stelton Baptist Church of Edison. Mrs. Williams is survived by her son Richard "Dick" Williams Jr. and his wife Susan of Mt. Airy, MD, two grandsons, Brian Williams and wife Angela of Mt. Airy, MD and Robert Williams and wife Sarah of Walkersville, MD and four great-grandchildren Chase, Vaughn, Jacob and Elizabeth. Services will take place 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 15, at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison; followed by interment at Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick. Family and friends may pay their respects at the funeral home Friday, March 14, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
