Obituary of Charles Peter Byron

Charles Peter Byron (Charlie) was born January 3, 1954 and passed away unexpectedly on November 17, 2022. A long-time resident of Milltown, NJ, Charlie was a graduate of East Brunswick High School in 1972. Charlie was a career Union Carpenter of Local 1006 / 254 and was part of many major construction projects over the years, to include the rehabilitation of the Governor Alfred E. Driscoll Bridge. Charlie’s hobbies include boating, fishing, being outdoors, and staying at his beloved lake house on Lake Hopatcong. Charlie is known by all as a generous, loving, kind person who would give anyone the shirt off his back; he will be sorely missed by family and friends. Charlie was predeceased by his parents, Charles M. Byron and Julia Byron. He is survived by his fiancée, Nancy Graci; his sister, June Tokash; brother-in-law, John Tokash Jr.; and nephew, John Tokash III. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Ave, Edison. Funeral Services will be held at Franklin Memorial Park at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022. All are welcome to gather at the Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m.
