Phyllis J. Gorbe (Monaco), 57, passed away Saturday March 8, 2014 at home. Born in Newark she was a resident of Edison for the past 30 years. Mrs. Gorbe was a graduate of Bloomfield High School and was employed as Senior Claims Adjuster with Wakefern Foods Corporation for twenty years. She loved excitement and enjoyed bungee jumping and parachuting. She was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth. Surviving are her husband Frank Gorbe of Edison; son Donald Gorbe of Edison; step son Frank Gorbe of Myrtle Beach; brother Louis of England; mother in-law Grace Gorbe; sister in-law Diane LeClair and her husband Ronald; brother in-law Gerald Calise; two nephews Gerald and Thomas Calise, and three nieces Joan Marie White, and Nicole and Michelle LeClair. A memorial service will be held Wednesday March 12, 2014 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Boylan Funeral Home 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. A Blessing will take place at 7:30 pm.
