Kathy Jeanne Maybin, 69, of Edison, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at her son’s home in Robbinsville. Kathy was born and raised in North Carolina, moving to Edison in 1971. She was a crossing guard for the Township of Edison and a hostess at Edison Diner. In her free time Kathy enjoyed the beach, playing the slot machines at the casino and going on cruises with her family. Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Beuna Uren and Edra Ann Seamon; and her brothers, Dickie Uren and Ricky Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Charles Maybin; son, Charles Maybin and his wife Randi; daughter, Gina Shourt and her husband Brian; brothers, Randy Shutz and his wife Kim and Brian Shutz; sisters, Diane Hicks and her husband Steve and Janice Hooker and her husband Jerry; along with her granddaughters, Ashley and Olivia Shourt; and her granddogs, Monty and Josh. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. Funeral Services will be offered at the Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m.. Cremation is private.
