Angelo Nicita, 73, of Edison, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was born and raised in Bronx, NY and lived in South Brunswick before settling in Edison. Angelo served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was the glass supervisor for Silverline Windows in North Brunswick, retiring in 2008. In his free time, Angelo was an avid fisherman, enjoyed playing the drums and building model cars. Angelo was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Dorothy Nicita. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Alice Nicita; son, Angelo F. Nicita and his fiancé Vanessa; daughter, Michele L. Peaney and his buddy, Jerry Peaney; brother, Michael Nicita and his wife Cookie; sister, Rose Martin and her husband Jim; sister in law, Jennifer Brandt and her husband Chester; along with his grandchildren, Megan and Alex Nicita and ToniLyn Kerr and her husband Patrick; and great grandson, Donovan Kerr. Following his wishes, Angelo was privately cremated.
