Obituary of Mary Bornheimer

Mary A. Bornheimer, (née Kenyon,) of New Brunswick, died Friday, March 7, 2014 at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, she was 92 years old. Born in New Brunswick, Mary was a lifelong resident of the city. Mary was employed by N.J. Bell Telephone as a telephone operator, then later as a secretary in the Department of Public Works of Middlesex County for over 30 years, before retiring in 1995. Mary was a communicant of St. Peter's R.C. Church in New Brunswick and was a member of the church's Rosary Alter Society, a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and an active member of the New Brunswick Senior Citizens. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Mary Kenyon, 2 sisters and 5 brothers. Mary is survived by 3 sons; William of Cambridge, MA, Richard of New Brunswick and Donald and his wife Sharon of Princeton, 2 daughters; Nancy and her husband Dr. Lorenzo Borromeo of Bound Brook and Marie Diamond of Branchburg. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren; Jennifer, Dawn, Richard, Anthony, James, Colleen, Bonnie, Lori, Kristine, Lisa, Amy, Michael, Judd and Luke and 7 great grandchildren Dylan, Justin, Sean, Gillian, Lorenzo, Gianluca and Leena, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. from the Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue in New Brunswick followed by a 9:30 a.m. mass at St. Peter's Church in New Brunswick. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Monday, March 10, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
