William (Bill) F Vinczi, age 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 19,2022. He was born in McAdoo, PA. He was a research chemist at Johnson and Johnson for over 30 years and retired in 1983. Bill served during World War II in the US Army Air Corps. He retired from the US Air Force Reserves after 20 years in 1984 with the rank of Major. He graduated from Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA in 1950. Bill was cherished by his family and a dear friend to many. He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Julia; sister, Louise; and brother, Stephen. Surviving is his loving companion, Mary; daughter, Julie; granddaughters, Katie and Megan; great granddaughter, Kiana; siblings, Mary and Bela; and many nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his unyielding cheerful disposition and love for his family.
