Stuart J. Friedman, of Somerset, NJ passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022. He was born and raised in the Bronx, NY, before moving to Somerset. He proudly served in the US Army during the Cold War. He retired as Vice-President from Citi Bank, Manhattan, NY after 35+ years. Stuart was a fanatical New York Yankee fan and devoted husband, father, and Pop Pop. He was predeceased by his parents, Reuben Friedman and Etta Cohen. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Roberta DiTullio Friedman; a son, Scott and his wife Cathy of Somerset, NJ; a daughter, Jacqueline Gibson and her husband David of Oxford, NJ; a sister, Lynne Friedman–Montenegro and her husband Mike. He also leaves 3 grandchildren, Cara Gallop and her husband Arthur, Cassidy Gibson and his wife Lindsey and Scott Vincent Friedman; and one great granddaughter, Emilia Gallop. Services are being held privately and have been entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Program and St Jude’s Children Hospital.
