JoAnn F. Frenkel, age 74, of Somerset, New Jersey passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021. She was born in Jersey City and raised in Union City, before moving to Maryland, Ohio, and Illinois. JoAnn was a homemaker who loved painting watercolors, baking, and reading. She was also an active volunteer for various organizations. She was predeceased by her parents, Louis & Helen Yannuzzi. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Lawrence Frenkel; her son, Jason of Highland Park; and her daughter, Lory of Somerset. She also leaves her sister, Regina Thor and her husband Joseph of Nutley, and their son Christopher McComas. Services are private.
