Theresa E. Bilheimer, 74, of Somerset, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was born in New Brunswick and lived most of her life in Somerset. Theresa attended St Peter’s Grammar School, Franklin High School, and Trenton State College. After graduating, she worked for Franklin State Bank, Rutgers Medical School and for the family business, A Bessenyei & Son as an office manager. She also was the organist for church services at St. Joseph’s Byzantine Catholic Church. Theresa will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her granddaughter, Ava, either reading, playing a game or watching movies or game shows. Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Robert Bilheimer; and her parents, Albert and Elizabeth Bessenyei. She is survived by her children, Robert Bilheimer, James Bilheimer and Christine Rodriguez; a sister, Carol Wimmer; and her grandchildren, Ava, Jake, Luke, Derek and Zachary. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Gathering on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue in New Brunswick. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:30 p.m.. Inurnment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery in New Brunswick.
