Evelyn Rose Koye (Toth), 82, of Edison, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013. Evelyn was born in Bonhamtown, New Jersey on November 16, 1930. She was the youngest of seven sisters. She graduated from New Brunswick High School. In 1951 she married her beloved husband, Zoltan. Evelyn was head bookkeeper at Rutgers Coat Company in New Brunswick for over 20 years. She loved entertaining and spending time with her family, which was the most important thing to her. She also enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling, gardening and doing word puzzles. She loved and enjoyed the companionship of many pets throughout the years. She loved music and enjoyed singing in the choirs at both Grace Reformed Church and Highland Park Reformed Church, where she and her husband were members. For many years she was also a member of "The Sweet Adeline's." Evelyn is survived by her husband, Zoltan; daughter, Debra Koye-Stryker and husband Steven, and daughter, Sherrielyn Koye. Visitation will be held at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Ave., Edison, from 5-7 PM with a service at 6 PM, on Sunday, October 27th. A private entombment will be held at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick on Monday, October 28th. The family wishes to thank the Edison Township EMS and JFK paramedics for their efforts.
