Obituary of Johann "John" Weisz

John Weisz of Highland Park died on Monday, June 3, 2013 at The Francis E. Parker Memorial Home in Piscataway. John was born in Klein Betschkerek, Banat, Austria-Hungary. He emigrated to the US in 1951. He was employed by Triangle Conduit and Cable Company for 29 years. After Triangle shut down, he worked as a mason at St. Peter's Hospital. He also worked as a mason for Nick Blum Masonry. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Karolina (Albrecht) Weisz; his brother, Peter Weisz and his beloved wife of 60 years, Maria Pfister Weisz. He is survived by his son, Peter Weisz and his wife Eileen of New Brunswick; his daughter, Sue Beaudrow and her husband Mike of East Brunswick and daughter, Maryanne Bienkowski and her husband Ed of Oceanside, CA; his beloved granddaughters, Jessica and Daria Bienkowski and Ashley Beaudrow and two nephews and one niece. John loved working in his garden. His rose bushes were his pride and joy and the vegetables he grew in his garden were shared with many of his neighbors on Montgomery St. John was always willing to lend a hand to family, friends and neighbors, whether it be home improvement projects, planting flowers in their yard or offering to drive someone to a doctor's appointment or work. Without being asked, he was always there to help. John was a member of The German American Club in New Brunswick. The family would like to thank all of the staff at The Parker Home especially his nurses, Augustina and Ann for all of the love and care he received while residing there. Family and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday, June 5th from 4-8pm at The Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Ave., New Brunswick. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 11am at Transfiguration of the Lord Church, formerly St. Paul the Apostle Church, 502 Raritan Ave., Highland Park. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick.
