I am so very sorry to hear about Tony's passing. I knew him in grade and high school and just recently reconnected on Facebook. I never got to see him again, however he reminded me of some fond childhood memories that put a smile on my face. My thoughts and prayers are with your family as I know how hard this must be and how deeply he will be missed. May God give you His peace and may you relish all of your loving memories of him. God bless!

To Tony's Family: Especially his kids...he was such a proud dad and talked about you all the time...you are his legacy. He loved his family!
To Tony: Damn it you stubborn ol' cuss..now we don't get to grow old together, i was waiting for you to retire to So Cal. Who am I going to argue with? We shared laughs and tears, and we knew each other hearts.
You always said “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Holy Shit! What a Ride!”
When I hear music in the breeze I will think of you and of course Marching Band memories.
I found this poem and realized you have forever Gone Fishing.... and I will miss you my friend.
I've finished life's chores assigned to me,
So put me on a boat headed out to sea.
Please send along my fishing pole
For I've been invited to the fishin' hole.
Where every day is a day to fish,
To fill your heart with every wish.
Don't worry, or feel sad for me,
I'm fishin' with the Master of the sea.
We will miss each other for awhile,
But you will come and bring your smile.
That won't be long you will see,
Till we're together you and me.
To all of those that think of me,
Be happy as I go out to sea.
If others wonder why I'm missin'
Just tell 'em I've gone fishin'
